After a very nice public-bus trip from Singapore, all along the South-Chinese sea, I arrived in Kuantan as a step-stone to arrange by telephone a permit to be able to visit Taman Negara. The last step after my beautiful and quiet visit (at that time) to go to Jerantut to catch the longtail-boat, which was the only way to come into Taman Negara.
